International workshop "Multilingualism and threatened languages in the Baltic region"

On 20-21 October 2017, an international workshop on multilingualism and threatened languages will be held at Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas (Lithuania). The event is jointly organised by Vytautas Magnus University and the Permanent International Committee of Linguists (CIPL). The special focus of the workshop is on minority languages in the Baltic region and the new affordances offered by the digital world to advance and sustain linguistic diversity.
